Bogota cycling values


A recent study shows that the 3,3% cycling share in Bogota, capital of Colombia, represents a sink of 55.000 Ton CO2. If these avoided carbon emission could be traded as carbon credits, it would provide an annual feed of US$ 1 million for funding invest­ments in cycling infrastructure.
